Learn the principles and patterns of Cowboy Dressage© and take your equitation to the next level with Dave Ellis. Dave is a Parelli 6-Star Master Instructor and 4th Place finisher in the Cowboy Dressage World Finals.

Just ask anyone who has ridden with Dave before, this is sure to be an unforgetable experience filled with wisdom, encouragement and fun. For the past 28 years, Dave has taught students across the U.S. and around the world.

This is an opportunity for you to improve your riding skills, your horses’ responsiveness, and create a strong partnership between the two of you.

Advancing Horsemanship Workshop
August 15, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Now that you have your natural horsemanship foundation, it’s time to take the next step in your relationship and skills. Achieving true lightness and feel is so important for advancing your equitation and your harmony with your horse. Dave will be “teaching by tasking” to help you realize how light you can truly be with your horse.

A foundation of ground skills, balanced seat, forehand yield and hindquarter yield, and experience at the walk and trot are required. Limited to 8 students.

Cowboy Dressage Clinic
August 16 & 17, 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Explore the world of Cowboy Dressage where dressage fits your goals, but a Stetson fits your lifestyle. Dave will help you understand the principles of Cowboy Dressage by honing your skills through a series of patterns and tests that are used in competition. Whether you want to compete or not, the teachings will improve your equitation and build a more synchronous relationship with your horse.

A foundation of ground skills, balanced seat, forehand yield and hindquarter yield, and experience at the walk and trot are required. Limited to 8 students.
