Get
away to the Cascade Mountains with just you and your horse. Ride in the
mountains. Sleep in the cabins. Swim in the pool. It’s three days/
three nights of intensive learning and fun for you and your horse.
We'll be heading out to Flying Horseshoe Ranch in Cle Elem, May 15-18.
Terry Wilson will be returning as our instructor and the folks from
Three Peaks Outfitters will be stopping by for a workshop on packing
into the backcountry. There will be activities for both
intermediate and advanced trail riders. For more information,

World Champion Reiner Craig Johnson

his Basics of Reining that will increase your horsemanship skills and
improve the performance of your horse, no matter your breed or riding

students can step up with more advanced riders to work their stops,
spins and slides.
During the Basics of Reining clinic, Craig delivers 20+ years of
experience and knowledge to help you achieve your greatest riding

A home for serious natural
horsemanship students
If
you feel like the odd man out and people in your barn are full of
"helpful suggestions" or just downright rude about you practicing
natural horsemanship, then consider joining our family here at the NW
Natural Horsemanship Center. The Center was founded as a
supportive, educational facility for the study of natural horsemanship
and its practice in whatever discipline or riding style fits you.
Boarding and
memberships
are available, as well as
haul-ins. Boarders and members enjoy acres of riding, indoor and
outdoor arenas and a playground.
They also get together for study
groups and play days. Boarders also get to audit most of our
clinics for free. If you're serious about your natural
horsemanship, check us out .
Samantha Moore helps students advance
the natural horse
We
have had the pleasure of having natural horse trainer and instructor
Samantha Moore join us the past several months to give lessons and share
her vast knowledge of horse behavior, riding and training.
Samantha is a long-time student of the horse and spent time learning
from masters such as Tom Dorrance. She helps students isolate
issues that are holding them and their horse back from achieving the
success they desire and gives them customized instruction and homework.
Samantha is continuing her monthly visits and students can sign up for
lesson times. Just visit the Coming
Events page on our website to see when Samantha returns and reserve
a spot for yourself.
