The Games

The goal of the Games is to have success and learn. It's a non-competitive tournament you can join-in or just watch and enjoy! The tasks are based on the Parelli Games, but you do not have to be doing the Parelli program to participate or be successful.

Participate for yourself or put together a team of four. We bend the rules to make sure everyone has enough time to try new things and test themselves in a supportive environment. Winning is not the objective--but it's sure nice to be recognized for all your and your horse's hard work.

Included are some challenge tasks from the American Competitive Trail Horse Association (ACTHA) games and a new pole bending race.

Saturday:    Online and Liberty Tasks

Sunday:      Freestyle and Finesse Tasks

                  Trailer Loading Challenge

Honors are awarded in both individual and team categories.

Trailerpalooza

Try putting your horse in a trailer from 100 ft. away and WIN CASH! One dollar from every Parelli Games entry goes into the pot.  The person who can get their horse in the trailer fastest, from the furthest distance and with the most flair (as determined by the judges) wins!  It all starts with practice time at Liberty and then the money round.  You'll start at 100 feet away and move forward 25 feet with each attempt.

FREE with Games entry

Controlled Gait

Try your skill at maintaining the fastest walk, the slowest trot and the slowest canter/lope over a 1000 ft. straightaway.  Gaited and regular horse categories.

Pole Bending Race

This year we are adding a pole bending race for some extra fun.  You'll weave through six poles, down and back, and then "book-it" to the finish line. The only prize is bragging rights and some great stories to tell.

BBQ and Barn Dance

On Saturday night, share finger lickin' barbeque with friends and whoop it up with the music of the Hard Road Band at the barn dance.  It'll be a great time to share stories and meet other natural horsemanship students.

$20 per person

Spread the Word
