Centered Riding® is an innovative way of expressing the classical principles of riding, using body awareness, centering and imagery.
It encompasses all seats and styles of riding and teaches a language that allows clearer communication between horse, rider, and instructor.
Centered Riding was developed by Sally Swift, author of the best-selling book
of the same name and is now taught by Centered Riding instructors around the world.
The Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center is pleased to be able to offer Centered Riding instruction by Terry Hutchins for riders at any level of experience who are looking for a better seat and more responsive connection with their horse.
Centered Riding has shown to provide the following benefits to many riders:
more secure seat
more comfort when riding
better sense of control
improved physical and mental connection with the horse
