Horse Crazy After School Education
After school care and education for students 6-14
The
Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center offers parents a positive after school
activity and care for their children through a curriculum of equine
study as well as fun times with horses. The Horse Crazy after school
program includes time for students to get a head start on their school
homework, play on the farm and learn about the science, care and training of
horses. They also receive a lesson once per week to help hone
their riding skills and relationship with their horse.
Our
after school program is not just about riding. It is a
comprehensive program that
teaches the responsibilities of horse ownership, how to be safe around horses,
horse psychology
and how to build a partnership with the horse through leadership; not fear and
intimidation.
Your child will also learn
how horses communicate with each other and how they can use that “language” to
“speak to” and understand the horse.
Of course
we throw in some fun activities to burn off youthful energy and allow your
child to express their love of the horse through
innovative art
projects.
